The Surf @ 2008 NYTVF ::: 8/28/08
Free Love Forum has a new pilot! It's called 'The Surf' and we're proud to announce that it's an official selection of this year's New York Television Festival. The Surf is basically an internet and technology themed sketch show wrapped up in a parody of one of those annoying highlights shows. It's kind of like America's Funniest Home Videos meets MTV News meets G4TV's Attack of the Show, except totally fake and made for the web. Sound weird? It is. It's also funny. Come check it out at the three free screenings listed below.
We're happy to be involved with the NYTVF for the third straight year, having our sketch pilot selected for competition in 2006 and our video "Coal" screened there in 2007.
Also, if you're in the mood for some industry glitz, be sure to check out the NYTVF premiere of the Sony/Crackle web series, "Michael Stahl-David: Behind The Star." The series was co-produced by, written, and stars FLF's Jeremy Beiler alongside Cloverfeild's leading man, Michael Stahl David.
